Gyeongju boasts numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Gyeongju Historic Areas, a cluster of historical sites, along with Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Yangdong Village, and Oksanseowon Confucian Academy, are all part of the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The Gyeongju Historic Areas, including the Daereungwon Ancient Tombs Area, Wolseong Fortress Area, and Hwangnyongsa Temple Area, are all located within the downtown, making them easily accessible from one another. Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto can be reached by private car, bus, or on foot. However, please note that when walking from Bulguksa Temple to Seokguram Grotto, you will need to follow a mountain trail and it takes approximately 1 hour.
