The Solgeo Art Museum is the first public art museum in Gyeongju.
It was designed by Seung Hyo-Sang, one of Korea's leading architects, and opened in August 2015 at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park.
The museum consists of spaces of various sizes and heights connected like a maze, and there are many windows throughout the museum.
The museum building itself is a work of art.
The 'Window with a Landscape' in the 3rd exhibition room is very popular as a photo spot on social media.
The museum also features a permanent exhibition room filled with 830 works by Sosan Park Dae-Seong, a master of Korean painting, and a special exhibition room that showcases new exhibitions every season.
