Located in the Bomun Complex in Gyeongju, the Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art showcases contemporary art exhibitions and large-scale international exhibitions.
The museum was originally named Sonjae Art Museum when it opened in 1991, but the name was changed to its current name in 2013. The museum houses a wide range of artworks, including pieces by major domestic and foreign artists and paintings, sculptures, installations, video art, and photographs. The museum is a great place to visit with children as visitors can not only view the exhibitions but also participate in various experiences.
