It is the largest port in Gyeongju, opened more than 100 years ago.
Like a historic port, there are many things to see. The white lighthouse with intaglios of a three-story stone pagoda on the breakwater and the Haeguk-gil with Haeguk painted on the walls of the village are representative photo zones.
Dozens of Japanese-style houses (Jeoksan houses) where Japanese people lived during the Japanese colonial period also remain. Nearby, a raw fish restaurant street sells Gampo's specialty, dab sashimi, and Songdaemal Lighthouse, which is famous for its hanok lighthouse, can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.
