Introduction
Gyeongjueupseong Walled Town, located in the center of Gyeongju, was built to protect residents and performed military and administrative functions.
It was first built during the Goryeo Dynasty and was renovated several times during the Joseon Dynasty.
At that time, four main gates led to the fortress, located on the east, west, south, and north sides, and its perimeter was about 2.3km long.
Most of the fortress walls have collapsed, with only about 50m of the eastern wall remaining.
A part of the eastern wall and the Hyeongil gate, the east gate, were restored to restore their original appearance. Especially the night view, illuminated by lighting, is breathtaking
