Introduction
King Munmu’s underwater tomb, Daewangam, lies 200 meters off the east coast and uses natural rocks with artificial channels to calm the waters.
A large tortoise-shaped stone beneath the water, 3.7 m by 2.06 m, is believed to contain the king’s remains.
