Bonggil Daewangam Beach is where Gyeongju Daejongcheon Stream and the East Sea meet.
The beach is on the small side, but there is an underwater tomb of King Munmu of Silla, who accomplished the remarkable feat of unifying the three kingdoms, so many travelers visit it.
There is a shopping street where you can taste raw fish in nearby Daebon-ri. It is also an excellent place to visit Silla cultural sites along the East Coast, such as the Gameunsa Temple Site and Igyeondae Pavilion.
