This is the tomb of the 26th King Jinpyeong, the father of Queen Seondeok, the first queen of Korea. The tomb is round, with a bottom circumference of approximately 10 meters and a height of about 7 meters.
While it may appear simple, it is known for retaining the dignity and importance of befitting a royal tomb. Located in the middle of the field in Namchon Village, the royal tomb is surrounded by a small forest instead of fancy decorations.
The royal tombs seen between the old trees give a peaceful and gentle feeling. It is an excellent place to stay long and enjoy contemplation.
