The tomb of King Heondeok, the 41st king of Silla, is located along the Bukcheon River that flows from the Bomun Tourist Complex to downtown Gyeongju.
A round stone was placed under the burial mound.
The zodiac statues protecting the tomb were engraved there, but only five remain today.
This is one of the emerging picnic spots.
Beautiful pine trees grow around the royal tombs, forming a secluded forest.
