Introduction
Kim Yu-shin is a shining figure in the history of Silla. He was a reliable supporter of the Silla kings and accomplished the extraordinary task of unifying the three kingdoms.
Having spent his whole life commanding troops on the battlefield, he lies asleep on the quiet hill of Songhwa Mountain in Gyeongju.
Kim Yu-shin is revered as King Heungmu, and the beautiful cherry blossom road leading to his tomb is called Heungmuro.
Kim Yu-sin's tomb is 30m in diameter and has a style comparable to that of a royal tomb.
