Introduction
There is a beautiful tree-lined road across the Hyeongsan River from the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal.
Heungmu-ro was selected as one of the ‘100 beautiful roads in Korea’.
Beautiful cherry trees on both sides of the road create a beautiful tunnel of cherry blossoms every spring.
It is not a long distance of about 450m, but you can enjoy the enchanting cherry blossom walk.
In summer, the green leaves are fresh; in autumn, the red leaves and silver grass are beautiful. Near the end of the cherry blossom tunnel is Heungmu Park, a popular picnic spot.
