The Jjoksaem District is where approximately 150 ancient tombs of Silla royalty and aristocrats, constructed between the 4th and 6th centuries, are located.
Visitors can explore the excavation site inside Tomb No. 44 at the Jjoksaem Relics Excavation Hall. Along the viewing path, the second floor exhibits detail the fascinating story of the stone-mounded tomb construction style of the Silla Dynasty.
From the outdoor terrace on the second floor, visitors can view the historical well, Jjoksaem, Bohogak, and Daereungwon behind it.
